Border Cantos | Sonic Border

BORDER CANTOS | SONIC BORDER Sights & sound explorations from the US-Mexico border is a collaboration between American photographer Richard Misrach and Mexican-American artist and composer Guillermo Galindo. Together, they explore the complexities of the US-Mexico border through photography, sculpture, and sound, inviting us to bridge boundaries and initiate conversations.

CANTOS DE LA FRONTERA | FRONTERA SONORA Exploraciones visuales y sonoras desde la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos es una colaboración entre el fotógrafo estadounidense, Richard Misrach, y el artista y compositor mexicano estadounidense, Guillermo Galindo. Juntos exploran las complejidades de la frontera entre México y los Estados Unidos a través de la fotografía, la escultura y el sonido, y nos invitan a tender un puente entre las fronteras e iniciar conversaciones.

Through this initiative, the UR Museums invite classes into the galleries to explore how collection objects spark conversations with the images, texts, and data sets they study in the classroom.
